Coming to you from Samuel Elkins, this great video review takes a look at the Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L USM lens. The RF 28-70mm f/2L is a hulking lens, for sure, which is not really suprising given its ultra-fast (for a full frame zoom) maximum aperture, but it also offers stunning image quality across a very useful focal length range that would benefit photographers and videographers in a wide variety of genres. And while the lens is certainly expensive, normally hovering somewhere around $3,000, when you consider the fact that it has the potential to replace several prime lenses while maintaining the convenience of a zoom, that price seems a bit more reasonable, assuming the lens is a good fit for your work and you don’t mind the extra bulk. Check out the video above for Elkins’ full thoughts.
