Tamron 70-300mm F3.5-6.3 sample gallery (DPReview TV)


I borrowed this lens a couple of weeks ago to take a few test shots. It’s very light in weight which makes it an attractive proposition.

BUT, the edges and corners were unbearably soft, and the bokeh was “double-edged”. The latter is visible in image #13 in the gallery, on the boy’s neck. The elliptical bokeh in the penultimate shot of Jordan is also pretty gross.

By the way, the heading to the article should read “F4.5-6.3” not “F3.5-6.3” 🙂
