Versatile and Affordable: A Review of the 2020 iPad

The iPad has evolved from a media consumption device into a powerful device for working creatives. Even the entry-level model is plenty for most people, and this excellent video review takes a look at what you can expect from it in practice.

Coming to you from 9 to 5 Mac, this great video review takes a look at the 2020 iPad. At $329, the entry-level iPad model is quite affordable, but after several generations, it is quite refined and very capable. The 2020 model comes with a 2,160 by 1,620 10.2-inch Retina display, an A12 Bionic chip with support for Neural Engine machine learning, compatibility with the first-generation Apple Pencil, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, Touch ID, and a battery life of up to 10 hours. Furthermore, at a weight of just over a pound and a width of 7.5 mm, it is highly portable. Personally, I love working on my iPad. It has a bright, vibrant screen, it is fast, and working with the Apple Pencil is very natural, especially for photo editing. It has also been my savior for teaching online during the pandemic! Plus, it is portable enough that it basically travels everywhere with me. Check out the video above to see what you can expect from this year’s model.
